AXIOM Systems is seeking three (3) Full-Time Senior Java and Web Developers that have a US Citizenship status to work on commercial software products in the healthcare field in our Phoenix, AZ office. This is a challenging position that will provide opportunity for long-term employment and growth with an established product line.
The ideal candidates will have experience working as part of a team or as a team lead within a consulting environment and will have:
As a Senior Java Web Developer you will participate in design, build, test, and delivery phases. You will work with support staff, clients, and business partners at times to translate business requirements into technical solutions. You will ensure quality software releases with minimal oversight and assist support staff with any problems that are beyond their capabilities to resolve.
• At least five years of Java development experience in a J2EE or Spring environment
• At least three years of HTML, JavaScript, and CSS experience.
• At least three years of SQL database and XML data experience, including writing complex SQL to build reports from a normalized database.
• Network programming experience and knowledge of standard protocols including FTP, HTTP. Ability to implement web services and HTTP/RESTful interfaces is a must.
• Able to network and configure at least two operating systems (Windows, Unix, Linux, Mac OS X).
• Experience with version control systems, including branching and merging.
• Good communications skills and the ability to document a technical design for customers and support staff.
The preferred candidate will also have a working knowledge of one of more of the following:
• Healthcare experience
• Knowledge of HIPAA and related healthcare regulations
• XSLT
• X12 EDI
• Ajax web user interfaces using libraries like Dojo or jQuery
• Accounting principles and credit card interfaces
• JasperReports
• Unix shell scripting
• C/C++
