Google+ to all, and to all a good night

Are you still waiting to be invited to Google+? Well wait no more! Recently, SoDA Member, Jan Jorgensen retrieved the holy grail of internet glory from deep within the Google Vault: an unrestricted invitation to Google+ for everyone! This was no easy task, only a true ninja is capable of slipping past the Google AttackHounds (beta) and cracking the infamous Google Vault’s reCaptcha code, but as they say, nothing worth having comes easy. All joking aside, here’s the email Jan Jorgensen sent out, be sure to grab your invite and join your friends who have already set sail on the Google+ social network.

“I just wanted to extend an unrestricted invitation to Google+ to everyone:

If you’re still waiting on one, this will allow you to skip to the front of the line.

If you haven’t heard about Google+, it’s a relatively new social network from Google that has you organize your friends into ‘circles’ based on privacy concerns or interests…” -Jan Jorgensen

If you run into Jan, be sure to give ‘em a big “Thank you.”

Google’s Here!

Google will be hosting a series of events and meetings starting today (Thursday) and tomorrow (Friday); this would be a great experience to learn more about what it takes to work at Google and to just get an overal better understanding of what Google does internally. I suggest that all of you go, because this isn’t an opportunity you will have very frequently. Make sure to tell them how awesome SoDA is!
