At this time I am not looking to employ anybody, but rather am giving up an equity stake in a brand new company as an opportunity for somebody to come on as a partner to manage the tech side of the company. This person will have partial ownership of this start-up in return for their dedication. At this point the company is not generating revenue so there is no compensation yet, however, this individual will be compensated after the official launch when revenue will begin to be realized. 10-20 hours a week will be required.
This person would be detailing the type of work to be done as the technology partner for future tech employees, including detailing the workload of a small group of seniors for their one year capstone project. Please see the notes below from a previous application I had put together and let me know if you have any further questions.

(Audio Excursions is currently in the process of selecting a technology business partner. Upon selection, the technology partner will take on the advisor role for CIDSE students and be the main resource for project completion.)
1. Audio tour conversion software project, and or
2. Beta website and mobile app design project
Audio Excursions specializes in aggregating all audio tours available on the market into one easy to use
website, allowing users to search out and download the widest range of audio tours in the world, and
offers a mobile app to experience these tours while traveling or on the go. Audio Excursions is seeking
a dynamic, innovative student team with an entrepreneurial spirit that is comfortable working in a
collaborative work environment. The team will be writing software and designing a website and mobile
The software to be written will be used to compile tour creator’s media assets, including but not limited
to sound files, maps, text, video, still images, tour points, GPS coordinates, etc., into a consolidated
electronic tour package. Additionally, students will build a website and mobile application using well-
known platforms to deliver electronic tours to a focused market of travel/tourism related users . The
website and mobile app portion of the project will include design and implementation of user profile
creation, collaboration, product development, crowd-sourced content and feedback, social networking,
a recommendation, ranking, and review system, web crawlers, database design and implementation,
graphic design, and sales gallery environments.
• A requirements specification document, using detailed problem requirements from the project
• A problem decomposition and a design solution after considering multiple design alternatives
• An initial prototype implementation of the end system to be delivered at the conclusion of the
two semester sequence.
• A final design document with functional and non-functional requirements, alternative design
considerations and final design decisions
• A usability test plan and prototype evaluation results
• A final implementation, demo and a poster presentation
• The delivery of the final implementation to the mentor marks the end of the project.
*NOTE: Students should feel comfortable enough to suggest other programming languages, operating
systems, computer/processors, and other technical components not explicitly listed below. All
hardware/software systems and languages used must result in an end product that is largely scalable
to be able to meet the demand of a still indeterminable user base and customer market. Additionally,
preference should be given to the most widely used, well known systems and platforms, especially to
those that are open source.
